Your 101 in 1001?

This week, I was blessed with the opportunity to take a workshop by the fabulous, Melissa Jill out in the Phoenix area. I love that city! The cacti, the people, the energy in the city of the sun! So energizing. What a wealth of information and inspiration the workshop was for me as well! The amazing photographers that attended are now friends for life.

One thing that Melissa mentioned was how important blogging was. And, with that, she touched on her 101 in 1001. Not that we should be doing that subject in particular, but that is was part of her blog and how it keeps her ability to create content consistently (among other ideas). I love this concept. This blog posting – as well as a personal challenge for our own goals. Whether they are personal or professional, it’s something we can all do.

We all struggle with things to blog about. Social media can be totally overwhelming. But, let’s face it, it’s free and the more consistent we are with it, the more it aids in growing our businesses as photographers.

I’m going to take this challenge! Be watching my own blog for my final list soon. I love how Melissa links back to her list post when she completes something. Are you going to take the challenge?

The Camera Bag Fairy

…delivered something to my door today.

This is one pretty sweet bag that will house my laptop too while I travel…and yes it’s on wheels with a pull handle. YEE-Haw. If you aren’t familiar with these great bags, please check them out! Our friend, Angie at Good Life Photo sells them and I had mine likety split!

FYI – use your own laptop sleeve if you have a 17 inch – it works just beautifully! I am doing it! You just have to reconfigure a few things. In fact, I may get my seam ripper out and take out the part they have in there for their sleeve – it’s all about getting creative, and I only travel for business and shoot for fun, so I’m not needing to haul a lot. If you want pretty, this is!
