Tech Support Holiday Closings

Pink Ink Studios Tech Support will be closed until Sunday. We have a ton of great information here and here and at the top of our store’s homepage.

We want to make sure you get the help that you need while we’re away, enjoying family time this Thanksgiving holiday. So, take a moment to do the following before submitting a support ticket to help speed up your request!

1 – Use Firefox over IE if you can’t keep items in your cart

2 – Login to the store and scroll down to the left and click on ORDERS HISTORY to review any orders you may have placed and need downloads for – be sure to download IMMEDIATELY to avoid your links expiring and make a backup!

3 – We have lots of FAQs in our forums if you’re already a member – we have to manually approve members due to spam issues, so new members won’t be approved until Sunday.

4 – Read the Terms of Use or Instructions documents in your product downloads to contact the designer directly about a design-specific issue. Please note that some of our designers will also be away for the holiday.

5 – Don’t forget the sales going on this weekend! Watch the blog this Friday!

6 – Help us reach 1000 fans on Facebook so we can start giving away gift certificates to our Fans!

November Featured Products

This month’s featured products are Calenders!  The designers here at Pink Ink offer a variety of styles and many of the cards are left in .PSD format so that you can further customize the calenders to suit your clients needs (please be sure to read the description for every calender for further details since not all calenders allow for customization.)  All Calenders will be 10% off for the month of November.  Here’s just a small sampling of what our designers have in the store (click on each photo to go to that item in the store)…..

New, Video Panelist Feature

Every month, our team of panelists want to bring to you something more than just writing. We want to talk to you! We want to share with you! So, we have put together a series of webisodes that we can get in front of our video cameras and share. This month, our topic is: How do you make your clients relax in front of the camera when in public?

We’re a small group here with limited resources – as you can see it was just me and Carrie this month. Next month, we’re adding another person. But, we’d LOVE to have you join us!

Video Panelists should apply by sending an application to: staff@pinkinkstudios.com in a short video form. You can upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, Blip.TV – or whatever other free hosting site.

What do you need to do? You should be prepared to participate in a total of four video discussions a year. We are preplanning our topics for the entire year so we’re making it easy! You can even record them all at once and submit them together and be done! You must have access to a web cam, video recorder, flip, or whatever! Your video just needs to be in response to our topic and within 1 to 2 minutes long. You will be given an FTP account to upload your video files to us. We do all the rest!

It doesn’t have to be perfect. What we’re looking for are “REAL” people without all the fancy fluff!

What do you get? Panelists receive $50 in gift certificates to our store to shop, and the satisfaction of knowing you shared with everyone your vast expertise! Okay so maybe that isn’t “that” great.

Our Forums Are Open

For the past year, Pink Ink Studios has hosted a paid forum. It was the perfect space for photographers looking to network and learn, come together and share ideas and solutions to common problems and ideas.

We’re proud to help you out during this tough, economic time, by hosting a free forum. Open to all photographers. It’s a chance for you to come in and not have to worry about added expenses. Share, learn, grow, and more.
