What’s new at Pink Ink this week?

For starters, Holly has new products for the wedding photographer. There are several pieces in her Soft and Pretty collection. This postcard is just a teaser … check the rest out!

Speaking of weddings, do you offer photobooth services for your clients? It’s a great way to increase your overall profit and get your name out there. Look at Carrie’s Photobooth Strips to finish off those images. Super cute!

Looking for a logo for the boudoir side of your business? Check out this new premade logo from Kim at MadiLu Designs.

If you’re looking to round out your business materials, look at Tegan’s Blocked Business Set. All kinds of goodies and you can really show off your images on this one.

That’s just a little showcase of what you’ll find in our stores. What would you like to see? We’d love to know! Leave us a comment!

Have a great week!

Before and After

There are quite a few different business sets to choose from in the store. With so many styles available, it’s easy to find one that works for you and then make a few customizations to make it match your own business colors and feel.
I’ve taken the popular GEM Collection – 5 x 7 Wide Format Brochure (I chose it for the damask pattern) and made a few quick adjustments. I love how it turned out!
After adding my own photos and logo, I decided to move my logo above the photos. I grouped the photos and frames together and moved it all down a little bit, and placed the logo above.
Using the paint bucket tool, it’s really easy to change the color in the lower portion. For the frames and damask pattern, I used a Hue/Saturation layer to adjust it, using a clipping mask to make it apply only to those layers. Check the “colorize” box and play with the hue, saturation, lightness sliders until you are happy with it.

The last few changes I made were taking off the drop shadows on the “information packet” wording and deleting the ornament (I didn’t like the way it looked with my logo, but otherwise, I liked it).
Don’t like the drop shadow? Want to change the frames? Don’t like the dots? Every element in this brochure is on it’s own layer which makes it so easy to customize. If you’ve used this set before, show us what you’ve done with it!

New Products This Week 1.15.09

It’s a brand new week! I swear, I feel like it was just yesterday that I was making this “new products” post. But, that’s what happens when things get crazy with work. That’s a good thing, right? Anyway, on to the new products this week! Lots of great things in the store.

I am also pleased to introduce our newest designer…our own staff member…Carrie Bombria to the team! I used to work closely with Carrie in the digital scrapbooking world and was ecstatic that she started designing again and was catering to the photography world now. She brings so much to the table here at Pink Ink Studios and it was obvious that it was the perfect fit for both of us. We really strive to bring top-notch designers to the site and I think you will love what she is offering!

On to the new products. Remember, you can click on these image links to go directly to the products in the store. If you are not seeing these images, then your feed readers may not be picking them up. Please view them directly on the website.

First off, from Amy Kant:

From Andie Smith:

And, our new debut designer, Carrie Bombria:

Carrie has a LOT of things in the store, so I’ll just show a few of them and then you can click here to see what else she has including pre-made logos, business sets and more. AMAZING STUFF!
